ABOUT ADOPTING A DOG
Adopting a pet means a life commitment for a precious life. Are you able to provide a stable home for the rest of his/her life? Please THINK before you CALL.
All MHS dogs have been spayed or neutered (age and health permitting), vaccinated, and given a microchip. Adoption fees are shown in each dog’s profile. If you wish to know more about a pet please contact their foster parent directly as per the information in the pet’s profile. If you are unable to reach the foster parent after several tries then please call our main line at 905-271-0883 and leave a message.Sometimes people ask which pets are hardest to find adoptive homes for. They are the older dogs and the larger dogs. The pets at the bottom of this page are those who have been with us the longest.
